The “Sea coats cleaning” action started Monday 13th October and lasted one week. This initiative was under the auspice of the Local Port Authorities in close collaboration with the local Community Municipalities and Halyps cement participated into this action together with other industries of the area. The cleaning covered a distance of 10 km which has been separated into 3 zones where there was one team consisted by 15 persons for each Zone. The team which covered the area where Halyps plant is operated was coordinated by our Safety Assistant and included 7 Halyps cement volunteers. Additionally Halyps cement offered the safety waste coats with the Campaign logo on (all together to clean the coasts) and the truck that transferred the wastes.
